Beautiful color and fairly fine grain (especially for an 800 speed film). Great latitude. Can easily be pushed to ISO 1600. No halo effect around lights. Please note that this film was loaded by hand, and it is possible to see a light leak in the first frame. And it’s DX coded!
What is this film? It is NOT motion picture film. It’s colors and grain are very similar to Portra 800 but with perhaps a bit more contrast, and a little more saturation. It’s almost impossible to find a new/fresh 800 speed film that is not tungsten balanced for under $20…. until now.
